“Save Us” is the latest track from ii. While heavy and backed by a cloud of emotion, it has a slow swell and concludes with a glitchy effect that almost serves the purpose of cleansing the listener after the experience. The track has a runtime that clocks in at just over a minute, making this a concise track that leaves plenty of room for replays. If that isn’t enough and you’re craving more, luckily ii has a plethora of tracks (20+) to dig through in their backlog on Soundcloud. While “Save Us” is more ambient and electronic-heavy, the rest of their library expands on pop, rap, and hip-hop influence. It’s a sound that would be lumped in with artists like EEKKSTACY and Max Fry but there exists a signature of their own, threaded throughout the tracks. Right now, ii only has music published on Soundcloud and not much information on them elsewhere so this feed is serving as almost a stream of consciousness, peeking in on their independent creative journey.
