One of Modern Failure’s recent singles, titled “I Don’t Think I’ll Ever Get It” is one of those “phases of life” songs; by the end of it you’ll have contemplated it all, from start to finish. The song covers a relatable path along life’s common falters we deal with, and the resulting confusion following examination that comes with it. The conclusion of the song delivers an intense rush of instrumentals that take you through all the same stages and motions of the song once more. Just as you really begin to close your eyes and see it all… the songs ends abruptly, in perfect timing. It’s a calming trip down memory lane. And besides, a little nostalgia never hurt anybody.
