Dream Nails are a rock trio from London and their latest track, “House of Bones,” signals the direction in which the group is steering their project. They’ve described the sound of their upcoming third album, You Wish, as “primal.” Formed in 2016, Dream Nails’ early releases carried a raw garage-punk energy. You Wish is shaping up to be a refinement of that sound and proof that the band is coming into its own.
“House of Bones” begins with an attitude-laden bass line and this swagger continues with vocalist/bassist Mimi Jasson’s powerful and magnetic vocals. You can’t help but get swept up in the gritty momentum as the track unfolds, pulling you deeper into its dark groove. By the time the chorus hits, you’re fully caught in the hypnotic pulse of the band’s commanding presence.

“Nova Twins have an incredible song called ‘Bassline Bitch’ which we love, and which inspired this song in its simplicity, and extremely gnarly bass part. For the music video, we featured our two jiu jitsu fighter friends – their sparring is just like the song itself – both powerful and playful at the same time.”
