Brighton, UK-based Fierce Friend has released “Blood Red Hills” ahead of their upcoming album due this fall. The indie-pop project, fronted by Alan Grice, blends rhythmic guitars and melodic hooks with swelling electronic textures to create an intimate, yet expansive sound. “Blood Red Hills” tells a story of love and trust slowly eroding over time, lingering in that limbo between holding on and letting go. Grice’s vocals feel reflective and confessional, and rather than sinking fully into melancholy, the track is balanced by shimmering instrumentation and layered harmonies that offer a glow of hope.
“Blood Red Hills” is released ahead of Fierce Friend’s upcoming album, Blood Red Hills & The Uncanny Valley, out this fall.
