Ritt Momney is back with a new single titled “GUNNA,” taken from their upcoming third album, BASE – their first full-length release in five years. The Salt Lake City–based project, led by Jack Rutter, delivers a track that feels like a mission statement, reinventing itself by looking inward and finding satisfaction in not knowing what comes next.
The single is quiet and personal, unafraid to be vulnerable and honest. It opens with a whispering acoustic guitar that feels warm and inviting. As the song unfolds, vocal effects and subtle production touches guide you through a journey of self-reflection and growing up, reminding us that our path is in our own hands and that starting over doesn’t have to be daunting or intimidating.
The lyrics are raw and introspective. If this first single is any indication of what the album has in store, BASE is shaping up to be an early contender for a project full of new life and a reminder that finding your place can be one of life’s greatest gifts.
“GUNNA” is released ahead of Ritt Momney’s upcoming album, BASE, out independently on February 27th, 2026. Preorder via Distrokid available here.
